Great food, good service. Nice country atmosphere. Breakfast was very good with nice portions at a reasonable price. Onion rings were awesome as was the chicken fried steak sandwich. Highly recommend.
Disappointed. Went for first time due to good reviews. Kids corn dog had ice cold dog. Kids hot dog had rock hard bun, obviously stale and then toasted. French fries were soggy. My chicken fried steak was a little tough and nothing special. Wife had grilled shrimp, small shrimp and bland tasting. Way more cafeteria than home cooking.
Great food at very reasonable prices. Staff is friendly and helpful and the food was very fresh and delicious. The portions are generous. The location has the wonderful old cafe feel that I remember from my childhood; with fresh- baked pies and cookies on display.
